WorkCare was approached by a mining operation seeking comprehensive medical support for its workforce. In response, WorkCare entered into an agreement to provide a consulting medical director, medical surveillance, and onsite medical services, including emergency response. To further enhance care, WorkCare also introduced Incident Intervention telehealth triage and a robust drug testing program. Despite the mine’s remote location, WorkCare successfully deployed a skilled team of onsite medical professionals. These staff members offer first-aid services and treatment for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses. All personnel are overseen by the medical director, ensuring high-quality care and continuous supervision. Through this partnership, the mining operation has gained reliable, expert medical support that enhances worker safety and well-being, even in one of the most challenging environments.
