WorkCare has operated a full-service onsite clinic at an expansive U.S. petrochemical construction site from its inception. As the project nears completion and transitions to production, we will adjust to meet changing needs. Our onsite medical director provides clinical leadership for a staff that includes occupational physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and paramedics/occupational health technicians who are crossed-trained in clinic functions. A regional account manager is responsible for all administrative and operational aspects of the client relationship. In addition to medical exams, first aid, care for routine medical complaints and emergency response, we support employee wellness and chronic disease programs. We also produce weekly health-related toolbox talks, posters and a clinic newsletter for the site’s monthly Health Workplace campaign.
